Workout Wednesday #4

I am super excited about Thanksgiving tomorrow because I just love getting together with the family and having a wonderful night together. You know, giving thanks to all that we have and just being able to take a moment to be thankful. Also of course the most important of all….FOOD!! I’m just playing, but not really. I am super excited to eat tomorrow. I had a fantastic workout today, feeling stronger and stronger. In the past I have fell victim to what a lot of lifters have done before me and that is to neglect my legs. With this three day a week set, I work out my legs and lower body every Wednesday and it’s actually really nice. Now that I am building up strength in my legs I am feeling more and more confident completing the lifts. Also my muscles aren’t so in shock anymore so they aren’t cramping up every work out which is always a huge bonus. I think I will be able to start increasing my squat next week now too. In all reality its pretty silly and embarrassing that I can bench more than I can comfortably squat so it’s a good thing to be working on for sure. Another huge benefit to working your lower body is that your legs can potentially carry so much muscle mass. More muscle = more calories burned throughout the day = fat loss = win win. That’s the way I like it.


Today’s Lifts

Squats: 185X8, 165X110, 155X10 – Will be upping all weight next week

Decline Calf Raises: 185X15X3

Romanian Deadlift: 265X4, 225X8, 215X8 – Need to go higher weight on second set

Leg Raises: 10X3

Crunches: 20X3

Leg Lift Crunches – 10X3

Light 20 minute Jog


Well I really do wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving! Thank you so much to everyone who is following me along on my journey to get fit and I hope you are learning and will learn lots more along the way. Thanks to my wife for being the most supportive person I could ever dream of having in my life. Fellas, if you want to be successful in life, you absolutely need to find yourself a women that will push you to be your best self. Who believes in you, and I couldn’t be more thankful that I have found that women in my life. Thanks to everyone who has shared or even just read anything on this sight at all.

If you are trying to lose weight and get fit and you are going through this journey with me, be sure to remember that tomorrow is about enjoying yourself. Do good on your diet today, do good on your diet Friday, but just relax tomorrow. One bad day will not ruin your progress just like one good day will not make you suddenly skinny. It’s all about the accumulation of those days and what you do with them over a long period of time.
